To my African babies:
I want you to know your dad and I are longing and praying for you. We have been ever since God placed you on our hearts exactly two years ago. Our love for you has never stopped growing.
We wanted you to be with us from the first day we started paperwork. We moved on every form, letter, birth certificate, fingerprint, etc. that was separating us from you as fast as the law would allow. Everything in our control we have done as efficiently and quickly as possible.
While we longed for you home long ago, we know that God makes no mistakes. God has a plan for our family, and so we’ll trust in his timing even when it’s hard to comprehend. Until we’re together we’ll wait for you with much anticipation. You’re worth the wait.
