Making Room for Baby

On Sunday my mom and I starting making room for baby!  We disassembled the bed, moved the lamps to the other guest room, and cleared the closet.  Finding a new home for every thing (out of season clothes, blankets, accessories, etc.) wasn't a quick task, but it feels so good to have started the nursery project!  This was the guest room before today:
The bed and side tables are being hauled to my sister's college apartment today so we're all cleared out to start the nursery.  I'm in the beginning stages of pulling together all the parts of the nursery- the crib, rocker & ottoman, paint, light fixture, bedding, and carpet.  Here is  my inspiration pic:
Different, huh?  From toile to contemporary!
We're selling all the custom black and cream toile pieces- queen coverlet, canopy and drapes for $575 (valued at $2,500).  All the pieces are in perfect condition.  If you're interested contact me at TaraKohlbacher@gmail.com.  I'd be happy to answer any questions, give you specific measurements, or email you more detailed pictures.

Love the pictures...you have such a beautiful home. Can't wait to see the nursery come together! What a great project to keep you busy! Another HUGE bonus to adoption...you can still get tons done and have plenty of energy to do so!!!
